Our company was started in Waunakee in 1976 by
Ronald Williamson, operating out of his house as
Williamson Surveying Company. After a slow start during
some difficult economic times, Ron managed to emerge as
a very reliable, accurate and cost efficient surveyor with
a strong reputation among the surveying community. In
1994 he incorporated his business and changed the name
to Williamson Surveying Co., Inc. Ron has employed many
surveyors over the years, many of which ended up moving
on by starting there own surveying companies. In 1992,
Noa Prieve began to work for Williamson Surveying. Later
in 2000, Chris Adams joined the company. Noa and Chris
became the team that could run the business for the
future to come. By updating the methods and technology
that was being used at the company, we became even more
efficient and accurate. In January of 2008, Ron decided
it was time to slow down a little. Noa and Chris took
over the business and changed the name to Williamson
Surveying and Associates, LLC. Ron worked the first year
as a consultant and then fully retired in 2009, leaving
us to continue the legacy of the Williamson name in
surveying.
Noa and Chris have developed excellent relationships
with several engineers, architects, landscape
architects, lawyers, realtors, title companies,
environmental engineers and soil scientists which we
work well with and will be happy to give recommendations
upon request.

Noa Prieve
worked for Ron Williamson for over 17 years before his
retirement. Noa attended classes at Madison Area
Technical College in the Civil Engineering program and
past his exams to become licensed in the State of
Wisconsin in November of 1999 as a Registered Land
Surveyor. He lives in Harmony Grove and married his wife
(Barb) in 1995. They have 2 daughters, Amber and Molly.

| Chris Adams is Ron
Williamson’s nephew and started working part
time in the summer for the company while
attending Madison Area Technical College. He
graduated in 2000 with an associate degree in
Civil Engineering and began to work full time
for the company for over 9 years before Ron’s
retirement. In July of 2005 he past his exams
and became licensed in the State of Wisconsin as
a Registered Land Surveyor. He lives in Sun
Prairie and married his wife (Traci) in 2005.
They have 2 daughters, Madalyn and Mila. |
